Chairman's Update: Letter from Chairman Jane Timken

Dear GOP Supporters,
I am humbled by the honor of being elected Chairman of the Ohio Republican Party.  My top priority is to lead a smooth transition that will reunify, refortify and refocus our party, and set us on solid footing for continued success in the future.
I want you to know that I care deeply about our Republican Party.  Prior to being elected Chairman last week, I served as the Vice-Chairman of the Stark County Republican Party, where I helped organize the volunteer grassroots efforts for state and local candidates and most recently for President-elect Trump.  Additionally, I have helped raise millions of dollars for our national, statewide and local candidates.

The Ohio Republican Party has an important duty to our state and our nation, and I am truly honored to work with each of you as we chart a path forward in the coming days, weeks, and months.  Working together, our party will be unified going into 2018 and we will work to ensure that we have the right resources, infrastructure and message to fight for the values that we share.

Historic Presidential Inauguration

I look forward to celebrating this week with everyone who is able to join us in Washington, DC, to attend the Inauguration of Donald J. Trump as our 45th President.  In addition to taking a quick breath to reflect on the significance of this pivotal event, we also have a great opportunity to bring all of our Ohio leaders together in a show of unity as our nation moves forward under Republican leadership.  The ORP is excited to announce the Ohio Capitol Society's Ohio Reception event on Capitol Hill featuring special guests Governor John Kasich, Senator Rob Portman, and our entire statewide ticket, including our congressional delegation and representatives of the state legislature.
